We're very excited for Audrey (Dre) to be joining Pylon as a founding engineer after spending a few years at each of Samsara, Discord, and Opal. At Samsara, Dre built a lot of the core features as part of Samsara's newest product line at the time.

Dre will be bringing her deep frontend expertise and fast paced shipping to help push out new products at Pylon!

Why did you join Pylon?

I know a lot of the Pylon team from my time at Samsara and have enjoyed working with them over the years. Pylon has great traction and a very compelling vision of re-imagining a core business systems a lot of companies use to work well with modern chat-first customer interactions. I'm excited to be part of the Pylon energy and own a lot of the core product work.

Dre's Day 1

I heard you've been getting into poker lately, what do you like about it?

I like poker because it's a pretty simple game to learn but with more depth if you care to spend more time on it. It's cool because you can make theoretically correct choices that’ll guarantee you money over infinite hands, but there's still the human and surprise element which makes it interesting. Also, just playing and hanging out with friends is fun
